Bay Area Creative Dance Academy (BACDA) seeks to bring a completely new mode of presentation for the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja through its talented members. Along with dance, drama, and recitation, this year we have a slew of technical talents who will help narrate a story about reawakening our inner soul. It is the story of self realization, respect and regard to our Mother Earth, our fellow humans and self. Our Bodhayon, our awakening!

The year 2020 will go down in history as the year the Pandemic hit, lives were lost in the millions, fires raged - decimating town after town, hurricanes washed away cities and tornados ravaged crop land. We are still refusing to acknowledge the magnanimity of nature’s cries. As we approach the month for Durga Puja we implore Ma Durga to help us search our inner soul. We have forgotten that it is not just about the glory of the festivities but we also need to understand the true meaning behind this auspicious occasion. We pray to Ma Durga to descend on earth and help us find the light that will burn away all evil and show us the path towards enlightenment. May Ma help us acknowledge our misdeeds and allow us to make amends. May we heal our nurturer, our Mother Earth, and respect every being and give them their dues. May we find ourselves and celebrate humanity!

6 months of hard work made Bay Area Creative Dance Academy's launch production a big success. We are very happy to be able to deliver what we promised. A high production value show that will make you leave the auditorium with a smile and feeling of fulfillment. We are humbled and indebted to all the support we have received from individuals, sponsors in form of booth, banner and food trucks.

Dalia Sen led Bay Areas effort on a larger than life opening ceremony for NABC 2017. Bay Area Invited Debojyoti Mishra to direct a tale of hundred years of pioneering cinema. Dalia partnered with Milly Roy and Surajit Sengupta to bring bay Areas dream to fruitation.

She led a team of singers , dancers and actors with the team of Subhen Khatua, Ranjita Ckakroborthy, Ballori Sengupta, Anuradha Mookerjee, Poushali Banerjee to make this a grand success.She partnered with other states and Invited renowned choreographers Tanushree shankar and Sudarshan Chakroborthy helped her chorea the many facets of the show. She led a team of 125 plus actors , dancers and singers to make this a grand event.

Indian folk and tribal dances are simple dances, and are performed to express joy and happiness among themselves. Folk and tribal dances are performed for every possible occasion, to celebrate the arrival of seasons, birth of a child, a wedding and festivals.
